House Bills

HB0077 - Establishes that restaurants display allergy awareness information provided by the Department of Agriculture.

HB0200 - Creates a statewide paid family and medical leave system, Family Care Act, to include a funding mechanism and eligibility and benefit guidelines.

HB0961 - Requires that dams in Pennsylvania waterways be better marked with signage.

HB1042 - Offers inmates in state corrections facilities a credit toward their sentencing for the completion of education, vocational, GED and post-secondary programs.

HB1043 - Allows school bus drivers and crossing guards to keep and administer asthma inhalers and epinephrine autoinjectors for student emergencies.

HB1044 - Allows laws regarding epinephrine to be more responsive by redefining "auto-injectors" as "delivery systems."

HB1130 - Prohibits the manufacturing and selling or food that falls under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) loophole, which allows companies to add new chemicals to food without FDA approval or any type of independent review.

HB1131 - Prohibits the sale of products containing Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Blue 2 and Green 3 in any Pennsylvania public school.

HB1132 - Creates a statutory definition of ultra-processed foods for purposes of clarity in the Agriculture Code.

HB1133 - Requires a label that is separate and distinct from the standardized nutrition label on food that contains Butylated Hydroxyanisole on all food manufactured or sold in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

HB1134 - Requires that any food or beverage manufactured or sold in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that conatins Red 40, Blue 1, Blue 2, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Green 3 to warn consumers on the packaging that the product may affect children’s behavior and health.

HB1135 - Prohibits the use of the herbicide Paraquat, a commercial product linked to Parkinson’s disease and childhood leukemia.

HB1305 - Strengthens child safety by establishing the Office of Child Advocate.

HB1475 - Clarifies that an offender is committing the offense of stalking when they when they knowingly or recklessly place another person in reasonable fear of bodily injury.

HB1476 - Allows adult victims of stalking and harassment to seek a Protection From Intimidation order. Currently, seeking such an order is available only to minors.

HB1477 - Imposes a mandatory minimum penalty of at least 5 years’ incarceration for any defendant convicted of a second or subsequent offense of stalking.

HB1478 - Increases the grading of the offense of stalking from a misdemeanor to a felony when the victim is a minor and the defendant is an adult who is at least four years older than the minor victim.

HB1479 - Allows judges to deny social media access to stalkers in Protection From Abuse (PFA) proceedings.

HB1480 - Requires defendants convicted of domestic violence offenses such as aggravated assault, strangulation, and stalking to notify law enforcement and the Office of Victim Advocate of a variety of information, including if they obtain a new job, residency or vehicle.

HB1481 - Creates the Civilian Community Relations Specialists Fund to alleviate the cost for police departments across the Commonwealth to establish and hire civilian community relations specialists.

HB1741 - Prioritizes the use of cover crops when enrolling farms in the Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program.

HB2049 - Improves worker compensation burial benefit to adjust to the Consumer Price Index.

HB2063 - Establishes a Clean Fuel Standards program tailored specifically for Pennsylvania.

HB2065 - Bans the use of Paraquat, a herbicide known to cause severe health issues, such as Parkinson’s disease and childhood leukemia.

HB2101 - Addresses communication breakdowns between county courts and PennDOT to establish timelines for licensing suspensions.

HB2145 - Prohibits the use of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in certain products.

HB2459 - As part of a larger package of tax relief bills, imposes a six-month holiday on the collection of the sales and use tax for various products.

HB2491 - Improves education transportation policies by eliminating the practice of students being offered bus passes from their school districts instead of being provided school bus transportation.

HR0177 - Recognizes the month of April 2025 as "Low Head Dam Public Safety Awareness Month" in Pennsylvania.

HR0178 - Designates the month of May 2025 as "National Water Safety Month" in Pennsylvania.

HR0194 - Designates the month of August 2025 as "National Wellness Month" in Pennsylvania.

HR0240 - Recognizes the month of January 2026 as "Stalking Awareness Month" in Pennsylvania.

HR0257 - Recognizes the month of November 2025 as "Diabetes Awareness Month" in Pennsylvania.

HR0288 - Designates October 13, 2025, as the "250th Birthday of the United States Navy" in Pennsylvania.

HR0509 - Recognizes the month of May 2026 as "National Water Safety Month" in Pennsylvania.

HR0548 - Recognizes June 12, 2026, as "Women Veterans Day" in Pennsylvania.
